Rob MacBain
Having spent more than twenty years working for Private Practice Quantity Surveyors, and approximately five years with a major Construction Company, in 1995 Rob established CQSS. He has been ever present in the office over the last 25 years and his warm and personal but professional approach has been instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with Clients.
Graham Parsons
With over 40 years of experience covering a broad range of pre and post-contract projects in private practices, Local Authorities and large contracting firms, Graham is now an invaluable member of the team at CQSS providing knowledge and experience in all aspects of QS’ing, especially in the preparation of BoQs. His strong work ethic, ability to take the initiative and flexible attitude consistently ensures that all targets are met to the highest of standards.
To achieve a healthy work/life balance Graham is also a qualified Swim teacher and coach at the local pool, and has represented his country in the GB age group triathlons across Sprint, Olympic, and Middle distance events.
Tracy Bowden
Tracy has been at CQSS for over 15 years and is a key member of our team.
She may not realise but CQSS would not be the smooth running business it is without her hard work and dedication. As well as orchestrating things behind the scenes with office administration, she has gained valuable industry experience and controls all the admin for our projects. She even helps out our team with measuring if needed, there is no end to her talent!
Tracy will be the friendly face and voice that you will hear when calling or visiting CQSS. Any questions or queries will be answered with knowledge, understanding and efficiency.
Luke Bowden
Luke joined CQSS in 2012 straight from college. He has gained valuable experience from working closely with Rob and is the master of external works.
As well as working hard on external works Luke has also been the forefront of innovating our technological output. He helped to source new software which enabled us to streamline our outputs and also visualise groundworks projects using a 3-D Model.
Our brand new website is also down to Luke, his hard work and effort in ensuring CQSS stays current has not gone unnoticed.
Along with our "in-house" team, over the years we have cultivated a wide network of UK based contacts we are able to employ on an ad-hoc basis, all of whom are knowledgeable and regularly produce work that meets ours and our clients’ requirements when called upon.
