About Us

Founded in 1995 by Rob MacBain, Computerised Quantity Surveying Services Ltd (CQSS) celebrated 25 years of providing a quality measurement service to the construction industry in 2020 with the launch of their new website, and in June 2025 will have reached an impressive 30th year in business. Over those years we have built up a reputation for maintaining a consistent and professional approach to each project, providing a level of service that has brought many clients back repeatedly.

At CQSS we are always looking to innovate and move forward with the times. We have witnessed and managed numerous changes in methods and practices in our quarter century of trading, and envisage we will meet with and overcome many more in the future, staying relevant and offering the standard of service our clients have come to expect.

While the ability to prepare full Bills of Quantities or Design and Build style quantities is an established art, it is, sadly, diminishing. At CQSS we strive to ensure our team has the relevant knowledge and experience to produce this documentation to the highest standard, keeping this skill relevant in todays Construction Industry.
